What do you mean ‘hit’ - like, there was a pop up and you clicked it? On PC?

Nope--It kinda took over the webpage (or might have been a popup). I closed it immediately and reset Firefox. Saw the address in my history, so I knew what it was (verified with a search). It was on my Mac.

The Brave browser that Obliviax recommended a while ago is excellent - light, fast, and very secure. I use it on both my pc and mobile, and I'm pretty sure Obli was an Apple fanboy so you're probably in luck if you want to download it.

I have noticed more pop ups that take over the screen or sometimes scrolls up while I’m scrolling down. On mobile iPhone

same on my pc, now using a vpn and there is no problem.
