I read a trial recap, having never heard of her or any of this prior to that article, and it looks like a classic definition of a shitshow.
- questionable evidence collecting.
- questionable motive and timeline put forth by the prosecution.
- questionable conspiracy claims put forth by the defense.
- lead investigator is fired for behavior.
- and a whole lot more.
