Probably promote Teryl Austin. Was previously a coordinator with the Lions and Bengals. Also a secondary coach with the Ravens when they won the Super Bowl.

Reports are out that Butler is saying Tomlin made the defensive play calls, not him. In which case, they will probably promote from within if that is to continue. I’ve blamed Butler for the JAX playoff loss for years, but if he wasn’t making those play calls that allowed Blake Bortles and the Jags to score 40+ points……….
