Music Row executive Joe Galante was just announced as an inductee into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Here's a profile of him I did in 2018:https://t.co/wBtiu3Yve5— Nate Rau (@tnnaterau) May 17, 2022

When asked his biggest regret in music, Jerry Lee replied "I never got to attend a Jerry Lee Lewis concert."

Even after all this time very few things in the music world make me sadder than Keith Whitley dying the way he did.

Especially since his style of country music is dead in the mainstream

this past weekend MsNT and I were watching YouTube performances from the Grand Ole Opry which lead us down a rabbit hole of some country greats including Keith Whitley. Such a tragedy for someone to die at only 34 years old and he had so much talent.

A Jerry Lee CD is placed at #1 in my car dash board. No telling how many times I have played it, sometimes just skipping over to "Whole lot of shaking." Man, what a thrill.
