Hard to imagine how Florida and Tennessee are where they are in this list. They lost so much and I'm not convinced that anyone from the portal will fit in like the outgoing guys. Is Tennessee getting propped up by Ament or what?

Also feel like Arkansas got short-changed here. They're going to be a problem this year.

Bama should have made the final 4. They were so lights out the game before the E8. Always said that game is the hardest to win IMO.

I feel they could win against Houston or Auburn (50/50 chance)

But they don't stand a chance against Florida/Duke because of playing style

And I feel they were the best in that 5-8 group(Texas Tech, Michigan State, Tennessee), feel they are a level above these three teams

Also, if Bama were in league like Big East/Big Ten, they may be 1 seed because of less losing games, they would also have clearer path to FF.

I thought Auburn was the best overall team honestly. I was surprised they lost a tough one.

Arkansas at 29, UNCheat at 33 makes me smile. Notre Dame at 77 ! What the heck has happened to that program!

Finally some respect.

#4 preseason is where we were the Unforgettables year.
It’s nice to have that respect early but i always liked being over looked early on. I don’t mind the 10-20 ranking to begin the season but every team will be gunning for us no matter what so it really don’t matter. Kentucky effect.

It’s based mostly on returning players and their advanced metrics from previous seasons.

Arkansas has a couple of freshman projected to play a ton of minutes so they’re going to be underrated a bit.

But sadly i agree. This should be Cal’s best team since 2019 at least.

I've been saying this about Florida all off-season.

They're getting extra respect coming off of a national championship. But their best players are gone, and the media is acting like that's not THAT big of a deal.

Walter Clayton Jr was arguably the BEST player in all of college. Sure, other guys will have better pro careers. But for college, WCJ was ELITE. Martin was a very good, smart, physical guard.

Boogie Fland and Lee are not those guys. They are not close to those guys. I'm not sure I believe Lee is as good as Aberdeen. You went from a proven SEC guard with final 4 experience to an ivy league guard.

They gave UCONN the national champion respect last year. UCONN lost so much. They fell way off.

I think we'll see Florida be more in the top 15 than the top 5.

Pretty strange that he’s even thinking about Kentucky, much less, know who’s on their roster.
Why wouldn't they know who is on who's roster? Most of these dudes grew up playing basketball together or against each other in HS, AAU, elite or wherever. I imagine they are pretty aware.
