By my count we play 10 ranked teams. Tennessee will be twice. We play the exhibition against number 1. Line em up

Yeah anywhere from 5-9 is accurate. If JQ comes back fully healthy, I don’t see anything lower than a #2 or #3 seed come tourney time.
Ranked #9 in pursuit of #9. Coincidence? I think not. Let’s roll!!!!!
Not sure about Florida at number 3. But I guess the reigning NC is going to get the benefit of the doubt. I think their back court is going to see a drop off, although Fland is good.
Not sure many of us anticipated the seed we got last year with the team Pope put together. I think this team could exceed our expectations as well.
I would not trade our roster for any of the teams ranked ahead of us and that’s not just blue- tinted hyperbole.
the poll is crap. If Duke, or I guess now Florida, had our roster they’d be sitting top 2.
it’s what worries me moving forward about Duke. That league is going to allow them 1 seeds constantly year to year. Their roads have never been easier.
anybody remember Gonzaga? Complaining about the league constantly? Giving them cake walks? Imagine Dukes roster with those cakewalks now.
Coach K still has a lot of control but it is now starting to fade off and hopefully that makes a difference. Without K and Duke without the ACC making a negative impact is what we want to happen. Duke is going to end up in the BigEast most likely. Does Nike want to keep that force going for them without a power 2 tag. That’s going to answer what they are moving forward. If they do I don’t see how to slow them down when UK is going through a professional league and getting 3/4 seeds constantly. Only thing is, when it’s the power 2 do they change the system entirely.

If Cal had this roster, UK would be ranked top 3. I don't think there are 8 teams better, just a perception that there are 8 better coaches.
100%. Calipari has had teams not this talented and been top 5. Make this a Calipari team with a guy like JQ and it’s easily top 3. Florida has a team that lost one of their best players to us and isn’t as good position to position and they’re a lot higher.
