Kentucky’s non conference schedule was finalized today.

Oct. 24 Purdue (exhibition)
Oct. 30 Georgetown (exhibition)

Nov. 4 Nicholls State (BBN United Tipoff Classic)
Nov. 7 Valparaiso (BBN United Tipoff Classic)
Nov. 11 at Louisville
Nov. 14 Eastern Illinois (BBN United Tipoff Classic)
Nov. 18 vs. Michigan State (Champions Classic) Madison Square Garden (New York)
Nov. 21 Loyola (Md.)
Nov. 26 Tennessee Tech coached by John Pelphrey
Dec. 2 North Carolina (ACC/SEC Challenge)
Dec. 5 vs. Gonzaga Bridgestone Arena (Nashville, Tenn.)
Dec. 9 North Carolina Central
Dec. 13 Indiana
Dec. 20 vs. St. John’s (CBS Sports Classic) State Farm Arena (Atlanta)
Dec. 23 Bellarmine

A loaded non conference slate with several marquee games. The BBN United Tipoff Classic must be new. Also Louisville game is much earlier and the Champions Classic a little later than usual. Thoughts?

I'm glad we are playing tough preseason games. I never thought we learned anything by playing Centre College or Transy with their 6'4 big men. I was thinking we should play Murray State or Eastern or Western, but I'm fine with out of state solid DI teams
