There have been at least 5 scratches, including the favorite Forte. I have the 6-14-23 in an exacta. Two long shots in there but it’s horse racing so you never know.

Last year I had a $2 win bet on Rich Strike @ 80-1.

Two horse deaths bring Churchill Downs total to 7

I was trying to rewind the dvr, if you can actually rewind it lol, and I noticed the color of shirt the winner had unfortunately so my family could watch it. The girls dressed up and then picked their horses. I was waiting to see who they picked and so I picked forte, the horse that didn’t race and they kept telling me I had to pick another horse. So I waited and then my one daughter said I will take mage. I chuckled on the inside and then the race was run and she was all excited she won. I told them I accidentally knew who won but was waiting for someone to pick mage and sure enough they did. Too funny.
