I think it's cool if two things are true:
1) You can program it easily to do cool stuff during breaks and half-time/pre-game.
2) The surface is tough enough to withstand scratching and stress.

Just the savings from not having to wax/paint the floor over time might make it worth doing, though I don't know what maintenance on old vs. new floor looks like.

What happens when it malfunctions during a game and there are no 3-point, free throw, etc stripes? It’s not like a malfunctioning clock/scoreboard where the refs just keep it manually. Clocks malfunction all the time. Am I to believe this immensely more complex piece of electronics will never have issues?

I could be wrong, but I don't think that's an "LED court". It has a reflective material/paint embedded in the clear coat that allows for high res images to be projected onto the floor.

I think it's stupid but if it pays for itself and more with the new NCAA advertising rules let's light the Hump up like the Vegas strip.

Throw the Pap's Place commercial up on that ***** at timeouts. 💵💵💵

Interesting. I thought it was projected. Maybe what I saw was.

Tool had their stage covered with stuff years ago. Made for cool visuals for Flood and Undertow.
