It’s really amazing how much he’s grown as a player between now and last season. He is laser focused on the court and very much engaged with his teammates and coaches as the game flows.

He's completely reworked his shot and removed that awful hitch he had last year. I'm impressed he did it, and I'll admit I didn't think he'd be able to. Most guys at this level aren't going to change a shot because a.) they are stubborn, or b.) they don't want to put in the work. He did. Good for him.

Having said that, Pitt's bigs last night were non-existent. I'm not sure we've played a team with SEC quality big men yet. We'll see in a month how he stacks up, but early returns very good.

From what I'm seeing this season, this baller should have been on the court MUCH more last season. Much more.

If we're all being honest, the most common response to him leaving during the offseason probably would've been... meh, we'll be alright. But every once in awhile, a guy like this perseveres and has fans asking at the end of the season, can you believe what this team would've been like if he hadn't stuck around? He's on a path for a year like that

When he plays up to his potential, he's the ultimate X factor. When he is at his best, we are hard to beat

If you watched him last season you wouldn’t have said that. That’s what makes his improvement so striking.
Yes I saw him last season but what we are seeing is a polished player not a complete overhaul. He could have been doing what he is doing this season last season. No player comes out of nowhere like that in 8 months, at least not that I have ever seen.

I think part of Keshawn was an attitude thing as well.

It depends on what Charmin you get. The red label stuff that's extra strong isn't as soft, but the blue label Charmin definitely is. Gotta know which one to get.

Yellow used to be the best of both worlds but they changed it several years ago. We've been on the Costco TP train for a while but they just went cheaper on their quality this year too.

I know exactly what you are talking about. It was called Charmin Basic, and you’re right they haven’t had that in a while. I used to get that one all the time too. We get the Sam’s purple label TP. It’s some good TP.

Murphy's current trajectory reminds me of Kodi Augustus. Guy who was in Stans' doghouse most of his sophomore year and missed a significant amount of games then really started to contribute his junior year. Similar playing style but Murphy I think has a higher ceiling

I think they renamed it to Essentials and it was more expensive and worse quality.

Murphy is playing great. You can see his confidence when he comes to the bench during time outs or when he comes out of the game. He is moving better without the ball this year.

I feel pretty comfortable with Hubbard, Harris, Matthews and Murphy. With some improvement I think the difference makers will be Kugel, Melendez, Nwoko, Jones and Clary. Nwoko is playing well at the 5 and is becoming a bigger part of our offense when the guards drive to the basket. I like Melendez a lot. He's quick with the ball on offense and plays great defense. He turns the ball over some and ball hogs a little but fix those two and he's a player. Clary, Jones and Kugel are quick but miss some easy inside shots.
