That used to be the case when the tv rights were shared between CBS and ESPN. I am not 100% on this but in this new deal where it’s all essentially ESPN the league office has input on the game times and networks.Umm... don't the TV networks decide the game times not the SEC?
Excellent point. Their shenanigans might have dealt them out. Maybe that hasn't even occurred to him.Dear Coach Kiffin, maybe the networks thinks a team like yours that fakes tons of injuries whenever the other team gets a big play to slow game play down creates a boring product to watch on TV,
I wish that was the networks reasoning,![]()
I agree with you. I don't think that's reality.... but I wouldn't rule it out. I don't like Kiffin, but I am glad someone is taking some shots at the powers that be in the SEC office. It does seem like LSwho gets an awful lot of night games, at home.Excellent point. Their shenanigans might have dealt them out. Maybe that hasn't even occurred to him.
Lots of good Alabama games there over the years, and I remember one or two with Florida and Tennessee also. But to be fair, we're now reaching back into the 1990s.I agree with you.
