If there were any shot at all of getting KK to accept our OC position, the angle I would pursue is to pitch him on carrying on Mike Leach's legacy to "finish the job for Mike" since we weren't quite there yet...perhaps a year or two from it being were Mike would have felt as if it had finally, fully arrived.
That, and a lot of $, of course, unless he has so much banked he doesn't really care that much about the $. Even if we had to pitch him on staying long enough to solidify it and allow for a smooth transition to another OC.
