Kid looks like he was built in a video game.
Hit .600 and had 89 stolen bases.

oh yeah he was 10-0 with a sub 1.00 ERA and throws 96.

and he just turned 17. Graduated a year early.

Doubtful he’ll ever set foot on LSU’s campus.
Currently projected as the first HS pick. Number 9 overall. Buddy of mine coached against them in a tournament earlier in the year on the coast and said he was a man among boys.

I really hate the fact that when there’s a star player from Louisiana, we have no shot if LSU wants him. Then if there’s a stud from MS, we also have no shot if LSU wants him
Blame UMiss for being too cool for an Ag school in the 1870s.

My cousin's pet-sitter's mailman is his preacher's barber's termite inspector, and word is the kids a bit of pre Madonna
Mailman / termite inspector seems like quite the double life. I bet they prefer the wrought iron mailboxes to the ones mounted on a 4x4 post….which would probably trigger some OCD tendencies.

No it's only the best player in the state they live in
That's not always true. It's the best stats in many cases. You could have small town kids with big stats and little draft interest win those, Happens all the time. We signed on a couple years ago and he didn't even survive fall really. That's not to say our current guys aren't good players, they are.

I can't even check off graduating early and the only reason I can the 17 is my August birthday.
That help your mood any?

He's 18 - not 17. He got held back in 8th or 9th grade I think but once he looked like he was first rounder - he decided to graduate on time.

Cohen signed Kale Breaux, who was Louisiana’s Gatorade Player of the Year. He got injured and never materialized.
