He messed up a very tough HR call on Carlos Delado last night during the Yankees game, calling it a foul ball instead. The ball landed on top of the wall and then shot left off the left field foul pole. After the game and seeing the replay, he took total responsibility and said he felt bad about it. He didnt hide from it, make excuses, or have the umpire association speak for him. Glad to see that

people complain about umpires, but the MLB guys are good and get it right 99 % of the time.

I actually wouldn't mind replay in MLB only for home run calls. Not for catches or anything like that. However, if they incorporate that, they need to come out with a "Nomar Rule" where they cut down on the time that batters take fixing gloves, wiping sweat, straightening armbands, fixing socks, digging in, taking practice swings, and every other drag that happens among them and the pitchers. I love baseball, but if they took that step, they'd easily cut down on game time by 30-45 mintues.
