Behind a pay wall. Not sure if anyone has a way to see and provide a synopsis. I tried opening the article on my phone and snapping screen shots before the pay wall popped up, but I never could get to the part where the OSU job came up.

I assume it was coaching boilerplate..."Well, it's flattering if your name comes up for other jobs because it means you're doing something right. Right now, I'm focused on the University of South Carolina and the job we're trying to do here".

I did manage to grab one snippet where he said when he came here his goal was to make it so the fan base is unhappy about not advancing far enough into the NCAA tournament, so he sounds plugged in for the long haul.

If you just adopt the position that he's a liar because they're all liars, you'll have a lot more peace of mind, and a lot more company as well. :ROFLMAO:
Coaches have championed use of the word BUT and all its synonyms to follow coach speak statements of illusionary facts.

The one snippet I could grab before the paywall popped up, he was asked about changing the culture here. He's such a cool customer in how he addresses everything.

He was very careful not say things were a mess or that there was a lot that had to be fixed, and even made sure to qualify his remarks by saying he didn't want to say anything against Martin. He said for him, changing the culture means getting players who fit you. Then he drew a comparison to marriage. Said one guy could have a wife who was perfect for him and have a great a marriage. His neighbor could have a wife who was perfect for him and have a great a marriage. But if they swapped wives, it would probably be disastrous. It's all about finding who's right for you. Then he deferred the successful change in culture to the players and said they deserve the credit for it.

Though that was a very diplomatic way to explain the culture change.

Guess who might be on the move again? This is ironic. Glad Coach Paris is in Columbia and not the other guy. SOUTH CAROLINA STILL MUST PAY!
