Landon Powell and North Greenville continue their series run. Would he accept an offer from Clemson if made or wait a year to come home to USC?

He might have the chance to be our head man next year.
Which would be the very best possible thing that Ray could do in regards to the very position that got HIM to where he's at himself today!!

JFTR, and NOT that it matters, but I'm behind that change 100%, as Landon Powell is the Very Best Fit for our Baseball Team IMHO!

Idk. You Gotta believe kids know a coach at that level would leave for a big time D1 job if given the chance…..right?!
Not necessarily. If you are making a comfortable enough living, the lack of a high pressure job can give you more time to spend with your family. Depends on the person.

There’s a big difference in level of comfort in a 100k a year job and a 750k a year job. That’s the difference between 8300/month pre tax and 62,500/month. That’s more per month than the avg American makes in a year. So yeah, they can tell themselves all they want to, until the money is thrown out there. That’s life changing money. And can be turned into generational wealth if you A. Capitalize on it and do well and B. Save and invest well.

I wonder if Kingston wants to bring his probable replacement onboard.

And the stress can have a substantial impact on your family. May not be worth it. Not disagreeing with you; just saying it's not 100% guaranteed, and those who turn it down are not necessarily fools (although indeed some who do might very well be).

Agreed. But three years of that. Good or bad and a guy could be set up well for life! Even if you suck (see Kingston) you can milk it for a few years! Hahaha
