I used to have battles with Chuck Haddad and Mike Briney form Norwin back in the 90's. They've always had a good program. I don't know much about this kid but I have heard of him. I assume he projects at a lower weight?
Yeah, it's hard to have a ton of confidence in weight projections this early. He's a sophomore in high school. Weight projection is always an inexact science, but I really hesitate to project college weight for a HS sophomore.
That said, he wrestled 114 as a freshman, where he placed 1st at AAA States. This season, he's wrestling 121 (so far). @El_Jefe mentioned 133 in college in his above post, and that might be accurate. Only time will tell.
2027 recruitment opened less than 1 week ago. Every coach in the country called him. Beyond that, patience.any update on this kid?

BTW, can you go back and edit the thread title to correct his name?
I would disagree that he's not known to cut hard.Yeah, it's hard to have a ton of confidence in weight projections this early.
However, Sidun is not a tall, lanky guy -- quite the opposite. He's already taller than his mom and within 2-3 inches of his dad (who wrestled 135 his HS SR year). Also, he's known to not cut hard.
So he seems destined for the lighter weights. But we'll see.
