I'm confused as to what Kilff Kingsbury is doing to get head coaching jobs. The texas Tech job was obvious, but he didn't exactly kill it and parlayed that into a job with Arizona, where he didn't exactly kill it, and now after two years as coordinator he's looking at another NFL job? What am I missing?
i don't think he'll get another shot in the NFL. Al Davis killed any chance of that. Blackballed him with the owners

Didn't McCarthy make about $8M at Dallas while Kiffin makes $9M at OM? Dallas will have to come up with a little more money to move him away from a college campus. But do they even want somebody like him?

On a side note, I’m reminded of a story that a high-end UT grad shared with me. His crew flew from Knoxville to Lexington on a private jet to watch their game years ago when Lane was hc. After the game, UT higher-ups asked them if Lane could ride back with them because he needed to get onto an important recruiting trip. The seats were arranged such as you face one another. Lane just sat down and put his cap over his face the entire ride. Monty rode with him as well. When they disembarked, Lane had still never said a word and just walked off leaving his poor dad to apologize to the guys for his less than gracious behavior.
