after this football season and especially signing day, it was just nice to have a major Mississippi State sport to enjoy.

It's no Womens Soccer but I'll take it.
My daughter texted me late last night telling me how awesome and how much fun it was.
Signing day turned out to be better than we initially thought, right?
The Hump used to be a total snake pit. It was just awesome to be there when it really got rolling.
I think we wound up being ranked in the mid 20s. That's actually a good class by our standards.
I thought it was really good for an early December 8 15 tip off crowd. That’s a pretty tough drive to make on the way home. We got home a little before 1 AM. The students were very rowdy, which is what you want.
It was loud through the TV!

Best passing team I’ve witnessed at state. Matthews has become a dime expert. Kugel and Melendez are getting better and better. Gonna be a fun season.
It's basketball, so there are going to be some ups and downs throughout the year, but I'll say this... I don't think I realized that this team could have an "up" like this until last night. That was really impressive, especially knowing that it didn't happen due to a 60% 3-pt shooting night
Also more turnovers than we've been averaging and a pretty mediocre game from Hubbard. As impressive as last night was, in a lot of ways we could have played better.
Mediocre scoring game for Hubbard. He set guys up driving the lane. Good to know we don't have to rely on 25 from him every night.
From some of the chants that were audible on the television broadcast.... the students were well marinated. Took me back to the early 2000s.

Sat in the 3rd row for the Kentucky game in 04. Loudest I’ve ever heard it in there.
Those were fun times.
