Models are starting to trend towards some type of winter event for parts of north MS Friday night as a late season arctic front pushes through. Exact impacts are still sketchy and further complicated as highs Friday should be near 70, but model ensembles are throwing around snow accumulations ranging from none to a light dusting to some places getting 2-4". Most of the ensembles of the GFS and Euro are trending towards winter weather. The Canadian is not on board and the event should be in the rage of the NAM by late tonight. I expect the best chace of accumulation to be in the northern 1/3 of the state and possibly extending down south of 82. The majority of any accumulations should be primarily confined to grassy and elevated surfaces due to the forecast warm weather before it starts, but don't sleep on bridges being clear your area see snow. Timing looks to be late Friday night into early Saturday.
