I'll reserve judgement for next season when he's responsible for the offense.

Nevermind! Yes, Lembo rocks!

I think Lembo is one of the most impressive individuals we've ever had associated with this football program at any time. He's the kind of guy you'd want to keep if everyone else left. You can't say that about many people.

The way many fans feel about their university. I know when I even hear the name University of South Carolina I feel a sense of pride. It can be a mundane conversation but I hear my school mentioned and a twinge of pride pops up. It’s the car with a gamecock logo or tag on it when traveling…..it’s a nice quick puff of the chest moment. But maybe it’s just me.

I never understood people who went to a school, graduated, and hate it. I know tater fans who graduated from SC and despise us. I know SC fans who graduated from taterville and hate them. Boggles the mind.

I made the mistake of going to Clemsux all because of a girl. I tried really hard to like it but there really wasn't much there to like. I will date myself with this but I listened to Train, Train by Blackfoot and Dreams I'll Never See by Molly Hatchet daily just to keep myself sane and to know my stay would be short. I survived 1 semester and got the hell out as fast as I could, I have no idea what the area is like now but back then there was absolutely little to nothing to do in Clemson. I guess growing up a Gamecock didn't make it any easier but Clemson didn't offer much to like. My hate for Clemson grew more after experiencing it for that little bit of time even though that time seemed a hell of a lot longer then. When I took my finals that semester, I wore a Gamecock shirt to them. I thought that I would catch hell but no one said a word.

My Uncle used to take me to Clemson games as a kid and I never liked it other than to just watch football and eat tailgate food.
Clemson was a cow pasture to me with very little excitement. Just an opportunity to watch football and nothing more.

How old are you like 80? Because I’ve been going to gamecock and Clemson (wife graduated there) for years. I’ve never seen it look like a cow pasture. In fact it’s quite beautiful.
Guess I don’t have the hate that some have for whatever reason but we both have great schools for tailgating.

You just outed yourself, Tillmanite. Enjoy your bowl game.

Tiger Phil is a turd, but I have to give him credit he tee-d up a great question.

Shane has whiffed on some hires, but Lembo was a home run no doubt. His special teams unit in my opinion was responsible for 3 wins this year without a question.

The GA State game was a loss without him. I was at that game and it was a terrible experience the team played extremely poor except for special teams. And we lose that game and good chance the whole season goes down the pipes.

Lembo is the MVP no doubt. Plus he is just a kick *** personality. Love that guy.

Been to Clemson many years ago and recently. Clemson campus and the surrounding environment are fantastic. The tailgating is a blast there. Been there for wins92,94,96 and losses like the push off game. Other than the traffic I have found it to be outstanding, sometimes in spite of SOME fans. Best time I ever had was tailgating at an apartment complex with a bunch of Clemson students. USC class of 69 & 76. Athens ain’t too bad either.

Pretty country there in the upstate. And there are some good academic programs at the school. But if you're a Gamecock in your bones......

Back when MBB scheduled Davidson regularly (alternating between Columbia and Charlotte, with the old Coliseum on Independence Blvd service as the Wildcats' home court in alternate years) and I was a student at Davidson and went to a game in Charlotte, it was tough; I just sat there as a neutral. Couldn't pull against either.

Throughout the late 60's, 70's and early 80's, my parents drug me to Clemson home games. We dressed like we were going to church and had family tailgates with my aunts, uncles & cousins that resembled Thanksgiving dinners. Good times but I hated the Tigers, I was all Gamecock.

You saw the light early…bless you. I totally get chasing a girl thing. I almost did that as well, plus I grew up in a Tater family. But went on to SC and man o man I am glad I did. The irony of it was, my senior year that girl transferred to SC from tater tech. Too late for us at that point.

Dang cousin….how you been. Lol….my brothers and I had to wear white blazers with bow ties and top hats to tater games growing up.
