What is it with msu coaches losing weight? The skinnier versions of Mullen and Lemonis have both sucked. I think JoMo slimmed up after he was hired too

Hancock is the weak link.

It's really hard to blame him other than he has physical limitations. What I can't figure out is that Lemonis knew what he had in Hancock because they've been together for at least 4 years and yet he went into season with him and 3 freshmen catchers. I don't follow college baseball recruiting at all other than I know Highfill was highly recruited. Not sure if he missed on other catchers in the portal. But the catcher is the lifeline of the team and expecting a freshman to start in the SEC just isn't rational, intelligent thinking.
