I'm not sure if most here know that the Lincoln automobile brand is named after the President. Henry Leland, a founder of the Cadillac auto brand, established the Lincoln Motor Company in 1917 and he named the new venture after his hero, President Abraham Lincoln.
Also the birthday of the great mathematician Dennis Sullivan, 81 today.
