First, a little back story.

In 2018, when Tennessee Tech was in the Oxford regional, i told a buddy who played for TTU that I would donate $25 to TN Tech athletics if they sent the rebels packing. TTU won, and I made good on my word. TTU has since probably spent 10x that amount in postage and material trying to get me to donate more, but that's beside the point.

Not long after that, an idea sparked that I missed the opportunity to donate $17 instead, and vowed to start an initiative to get a bunch of us to do the same next time a similar opportunity presented itself. My criteria along the way has been, if a non-P5/4 team beats OM in football, or eliminates them in basketball or baseball, then their athletic department should be flooded with $17 donations from MSU fans who appreciate their efforts. I may have missed an opportunity along the way but I think this is the first time that criteria has been met.

So,In honor of Murray State holding on for the win tonight, a check will be in the mail tomorrow, with "17 Ole Miss" in the memo.

Encourage you all to do the same...let's see if this thing can get some legs. Some low level person who works in fundraising at Murray State is going to be VERY confused.

No, I text a Reb buddy, told him that was GD Ugly. He then wanted to bet that Murray St. would go the CWS,
I had to agree, on the bet out of courtesy, Ha ha.

They did not like that shat.

And while we're at it.......donate to UTSA too! The SEC really fizzled out in the end. Kind of clears the table for Arkansas to get their first title.....provided they can catch the popup foul ball this time.

Little Rock played really well, but the Tiguhs did get out of the regional last night 10-6.

How about donating $17 to Hailstate in honor of Murray State's victory?
