theory...Polk's temper tantrum is actually a well planned and orchestrated diversion tactic meant to steer everybody away from any "skeltons in the closet". Polk knew that Raffo would keep the closet door closed so he campaigned hard for Raffo. Cleaning out his office completely would also be a grand cover-up. It's a <17> theory but what the hell, the name is coming off the wall anyway.
