Myself: Retired USAF. Was in Middle East from start to finish of Desert Shield/Desert Storm.

Thank you to all who served before me, with me, and serve today.
Let me say it is humbling to read about the service to our country each of my fellow vets have rendered. One thing we all learned while serving, every job in the military has a part in mission accomplishment. I salute all of you.

US Army Reserves 1967 - 73.

Basic Training and AIT were at Fort Ord in Monterey, California. Fortunately I was never called up for active duty during the Vietnam War which makes me think of myself as not quite a real "veteran", even though I do qualify as one.

My heartfelt thanks and appreciation goes out to all veterans, especially those who served in harms way.
