Let's make this easy for Selmon.

Rather than including some of the more unrealistic choices, I'm sticking to Dellenger's list. Feel free to reply with your top choices if they aren't included.

[OopsICroomedmypants]

You MAY need to add Mullen in there.

[patdog]

Clay Helton. But from the list Tom Herman.

[msugrad2003]

Mr. Coach Kline

No Bob M17n Stoops? He's the frontrunner. List is trash.

[Dawgbite]

Based on recent history of coaching hires at this University I’d bet big money on “Someone Not Listed”!

[Klovis]

Jamey Chadwell and Tom Herman are my top 2.

[Dawgtruc]

Scratch Lebby and Sumrall and choose from the rest.

I don’t want anyone who has coached at Landshark U

Not a big Dudy Noble guy I take?

[Duke Humphrey]

Is Chadwell’s lack of p5 experience give anyone pause? From recruiting to assembling a staff, the gap from CUSA/Sun Belt to P5 is large

ETA: I’m not against him, I just ask that as one potential concern

[Willow Grove Dawg]

Doesn't Chadwell have a huge buyout?

[mcdawg22]

Garbage poll. No Stoops.

[Colonel Kang]

There is an obvious omission in your poll

[Colonel Kang]

1. Leipold - winner. No brainer if he wants it. Has done it at the P5 level.
2. Mullen - Would go in dry in the interview with hard questions. Make his *** quit. If he doesn't... hire him. Lock down concerns
3. Chadwell - Winner but has never been at P5 level
4. Lashlee - Good coach & has been at the P5 level. Doesn't fit "winner status" yet like Chadwell & Leipold though

That's the list & order that makes the most sense

[The Cooterpoot]

Lashlee or Chadwell

Man that was so long ago my grandad can’t even relate

Your and dubmass

[Dawgtruc]

Your and dubmass

Ok. Take the ole ms connection out of the equation.

Lebby’s never been a head coach, and Sumrall would bolt for the UK job if it opens up.

[Crazy Cotton]

Johnathan Smith at Oregon State coaches the kind of football that would work here.

[HumpDawgy]

If we can't find a decent g5 or div II head coach, I would at the very least interview Joe Brady.

[Baddog11]

In the history of Miss State hires, the person we’ve hired has never once been on the short lists of candidates to consider.
This time it will be no different. His name hasn’t been posted here or anywhere else.

Surprised Sumrall is getting the fewest votes.
