I predict a targeting penalty about 2/3 the way thru the 1st quarter because our defense will be stuffing their offense with 3 and outs and the referines just can't allow that....
Good point. But you might be forgetting the targeting call on Brown in the 3rd quarter versus Northwestern that will make him sit out the first half of the Michigan game.
In a "this only can happen to Penn State", freshman running back sensation Nick Singleton was flagged for targeting in a game against Northwestern, because he lowered his head and ran into a defender's thigh guard.
Singleton will miss both the first and second half of the Michigan game, because "this can only happen to Penn State"
THen when he fair catches the 2nd half kickoff, he'll be flagged for targeting again
This will be followed by a make-up call, when the refs give a sideline warning to Michigan on the next play.
I love playing big games away when the kick is at Noon. Hate it when we have it. Love it when they have it. Takes away crowd thunder.
On the same play, Singleton will be called for a blindside block while holding the ball. Half the distance to the goal. PSU ball at the 2.

Our defense doesn't stuff too many plays at the LOS. But they can get into the backfield and cause trouble.
Looks like we are due for an unsportsmanlike penalty charged to the PSU bench on the kickoff. The Penn State logo is larger than the UM one on the FOX announcement.
