Made a flat out pine box denial of the LSU job. It never made a lot of sense to me. OU has more money than LSU and with the move to the SEC, it's truly lateral at best.

So who's the next Captain Corndog?

Billy Napier is currently crawling over broken glass down I-10 to prove his dedication to LSU.

He’s crawling further down I-10. Supposed to be named Florida coach later today or tomorrow. If I’m LSU, I’m throwing the bank at Kiffin right now.

If I'm Florida I'm hiring the undefeated Greg Knox. 1000% winning percentage. All winning all the time

LSU is a better job than Ok if OK is going to be in the SEC. Way more recruits.

They are a better job even if OU stayed in the Big 12….they’ve won 3 natty’s under 3 different coaches since the last time OU won a title. But yes you are correct….LSU is now a WAY better job. The absolute ceiling for OU and Texas in the SEC is basically what Auburn and Texas A&M have been for the past 9-10 years.

OU is going to start getting their *** kicked in the SEC unless they change some things. Those teams are soft as Charmin.

It’s not the offense that’s the problem.
OU gets usually over 50% of their players from TX. It is going to be interesting to see UT, OU, aTm, LSU, AR all trying to recruit TX players to the SEC.

Until recently aTm felt like they had an advantage over UT and OU because they were alone in the SEC, not now.

Yeah, I just went and ate lunch and saw that. I stopped at the grocery store to get some special seasonings for this dish of crow.

LSU and Oklahoma could be open at the same time.

Yep.

We may have built a conference no one wants to coach in. Smart move by Riley.

Terrible move by Riley.

The only way I can see this is if he is from out west and wanted to get back.

It’s been proven to be easier to win at lsu than at usc. Ask les and Ed.

Well, he didn’t lie. Looks like he wanted no part of the SEC.

Its going to be easier to get to the playoff at USC than at LSU once
OU and TX join. How could it not be?

Who knows what his ambitions are. Based on my experience around both fanbases, LSU and OU are nothing alike and it would be much different coaching in Baton Rouge rather than Norman.

Ed O and les Myles won national championships at lsu.

Subjective argument.

I’d take lsu over usc unless there are behind the scene issues I don’t know abt.

Definitely from Texas.

Wonder if he was just unhappy at Oklahoma or just really didn’t want to be in the sec.
