At one point the QB had thrown 3 INT'S in 10 pass attempts. You won't beat Incarnate Word with a 30% interception ratio.

With each playoff game, it's looking more and more like Bama, Ole Miss and USC got screwed. Not just one of us... all freaking three of us. I dont think the committee could not have missed the mark any more than they did but they were probably more concerned with optics and diversity and such. Yep, fire them all. More ons.

Wrong. SMU went 11-1 and played for their conference championship. 3-loss SEC teams are not more deserving, and yes, I included the team I pull for in that. But I said what I said and stand by it. Until the top 2 conferences break away, you have to give everyone in the conferences the benefit of the doubt. See Clemson during the run. A lot of people said they didn’t belong, and they absolutely took an Alabama team to the woodshed. Otherwise you are relying on the eye test which I think is bs and subjective as hell.
Nah... No eye test. SOS and quality wins. A simple objective formula could have avoided this mess.
There is no way the SEC should have had only two teams in this abomination of an invitational. I will say this, PSU is the first team so far that looks like they should be here... but I reserve the right to change that position if by chance they play a team that has been battle tested during the regular season.
This is BS. Out of the three SEC teams who got left out, all would smoke SMU. I think all or 2/3 beat Indiana.
The committee manipulated the rankings to make sure SMU rose high enough to be in no matter what happened in the ACC championship game. They had them jumping teams by leaps and bounds as Miami and Clemson fell out of favor. There was always going to be two teams at the very least from the ACC. Like it or not this was gonna happen. It was on the agenda... and that's not even counting ND.
I never implied that CERTAIN other teams should be in this thing. Im just saying smu sucks and isnt one of the 12 best teams out there.
Dude, just stop. I'm not saying those are the only two factors. I'm just saying there was and is an objective way to do it that's much better than the current voodoo method.

When the conf championship features a team outside the top-12 rankings, it should be a play-in game... even if it's #1 vs #13.
If it were in my power, I would eliminate the conference championship game all together. You are what your season says you are. Especially now that there are no divisions.
