QB Lonergan, No. 62 recruit for '23, picks Bama
Quarterback Dylan Lonergan, from Brookwood High School in Snellville, Georgia, the No. 62 recruit on the 2023 ESPN 300, has committed to Alabama.
With the transfer portal the way it is some kids will go to these schools and figure out there are 3 qbs as good or better than they are.
Was NIL $$ involved, winning doesn't seem to be the main factor anymore, it's how much will you pay me. I haven't followed it this year and not saying NIL affected Lonergan, I was just asking.I guess I was a little surprised b/c they already have a more highly rated QB in the 2023 class in Eli Holstein. That's how powerful the lure of winning is.
Ahem, he went to Bama. Was NIL $$ involved, winning doesn't seem to be the main factor anymore, it's how much will you pay me. I haven't followed it this year and not saying NIL affected Lonergan, I was just asking.
"Money" Roll TideAhem, he went to Bama.
Keep in mind this is coming from a kid in high school, we could have been in the lead for 15 minutes in the morning, then in the afternoon his attention span changes again.Wonder if we were ever actually in the lead for Lonergan. He said we were in the lead "at times" but that Stanford was in the lead up until June which is when Bama emerged for him.

Just for the record, I thought our chances were slight at best.
Reno for Heisman!! Disappointed over Lonergram still, but trying to see upside. Reno is the upside. Great commitment who will play as a Freshman. Bring on the skill players. WE are poised to add some beef this week too, with Dorman OL announcing and the DE that seems to be a lock to us. Bring on the Stars!
Haven't HeardHas there been any more word on Reno reclassifying?
