Kinda hate to see a new debutante waltz into our historic conference and win it in their debut. A clear indicator of what money means in today’s college football landscape. The charm is gone.

That's a great way to put it. The charm of college football, whatever you call it, what they used to have, is gone.
Potential conference champions:
SEC - Texas
Big 10 - Oregon
ACC - SMU
Big 12 - Arizona St
All of that is just bullsh*t.
Somebody can either beat them or they can't. Kind of like whether you meet them in the first round or last round you either beat them or you can't. I realize injuries, home field, blah blah blah but in the long run most times the best team wins
I don’t know that the easy schedule mattered much. They’re probably still the best team in the conference.
I still can't get over the fact that schools in California and Texas are now in the ATLANTIC COAST Conference. At least rename the conference or something. Talk about manifest destiny..
