Looks like Herbie won't be calling any more White Out games for the foreseeable future

Variety in presentation will be very cool. Big question is, with 3 networks having rights, will that likely mean our game with OSU cycles between the 3 every year?

Gotta believe GameDay will avoid most B1G games as well.

And I'm crying inside. 🤣

Curious about specifics. Like them or not, there were a large volume of games on the various ABC/ESPN networks. Adding the LA schools increases the volume and over fewer stations.

Yes, it will be interesting to see the specifics. Football won't be much of an issue as you are going from 1-2 network games each week to 3 seemingly every week. Probably have some extra games on FS1 to pick up the slack from losing ESPN (Fox probably won't keep both the Pac-12 and Big 12 going forward if they keep either of them which frees up some slots). With the California schools, BTN could add an "after dark" window if needed some weeks for games in LA.

But it would be curious for other sports, especially hoops. ESPN carried a lot of those games and I don't think FS1 alone could pick up the slack. CBS will probably get some extra hoops games and maybe NBC picks up some as well? Would FS2, CBS Sports, USA or the streamers (Peacock or Paramount+) get some basketball?

It's in the post I made in the thread about conference movement and TV contracts:

I'm locking this thread, as I've been consistent about keeping all of the discussions about conference realignment and TV contracts (as well as changes to the CFP) in one thread.
