I had a conversation along these lines this week. There’s a ton of guys making six figures that will never see the NFL and will take a serious pay cut when they get a real job.

I'm sure after paying agent, handlers, and taxes most will have just enough to buy a vehicle and set approx $0 aside to get them ahead for times where they'll be expected to take care of themselves. If I had been making 6 figures in college it would have been wasted on a truck, booze, and guitars.

Same here. I was a danger to myself with what little my parents gave me plus what i made waiting tables and Flo’s. 17, i would have probably died of an overdose or liquified liver

I believe it was a quote from Tommy Kelly, a former defensive lineman. Whoever it was claimed about opposing running backs that he was going to be a defensive tackle who would dominate the line of scrimmage and blow his @#$#$ @#$#$@# @$$ up.
