LSU with a 2-run homer. Looked like Hicks should’ve gotten the call on the 1-2 pitch but Ump called it a ball. He’s been terrible all night, and honestly mostly in our favor. So hard to complain.
Need to get out of here with a win. Want to keep this momentum.

Still in good shape. With short start from Sanders and a DH tomorrow, gotta let Hicks go as far as he can.
Not sure I like bunting with Horning. Dude has put 2 men on. Don’t give them an out. 9 runs should be enough. I’d rather take a chance to end it here.

This game should be over. LSU not warming anybody up. We haven’t even put a ball in play. Walked in a run. LSU not going to waste another pitcher. I think they are fine getting mercy-ruled. Just need to be patient and make him throw some pitches. He’s all over the place.
Just heard them say we have 12 runs on SIX hits. Couldn’t end it. LSU gave us 3 there. No hits. Just discipline at the plate which we’ve lacked in past seasons. Would’ve been nice to end it.
