I'm out of state, but it looks like the weather is going to be a big factor for this series. Is there any talk about switching up game times/days in order to get as many in as possible?

Not that I've heard. Weather looks BAD across the Southeast. We'll be lucky if we get one game in.

Moves due to weather have been made in previous weeks - not sure why there's been no action this week!

It is not uncommon over the years for the SEC to wait until the last minute to make decisions about inclement weather.

Yep. They're already predicting us to get 2-3" of rain here over the weekend. It's not like this is sneaking up on anyone.

Tonight’s game should happen. The other 2 will be very questionable unless they’re allowed to play them on Sunday. Somebody said in another post that the SEC enforces 3 games in 3 days. 🤷‍♂️

You would have thought a DH would have been in order tonight. Maybe one of the teams or both couldn't make it happen.

Why are teams everywhere not playing on sundays this season?
I asked that question in another thread. I think USCbatgirl answered it pretty well. It seems to have mostly to do with TV. I still think it's pretty weird.

They officially announced there will be a Double header tomorrow (Friday) beginning at noon. 2 - 9 inning games. Hour in between.

Bought tickets to tomorrow night's game (original game 2). Must leave Virginia by 6:00 a.m. to make it to Columbia by noon (game 2). This will be our first game at Founders Park. Have not been to a home game since 1995.

We are spending Friday night in Columbia and driving to Hilton Head Saturday.

When do you expect SC to make a decision about tomorrow's game? Any helpful feedback welcomed.

Speaking of the ACC, NCSU & Wake are playing today - at least two games. d1baseball.com has them down as playing a tripleheader today. I doubt the league would actually allow that.

Yes, it's 3 games in 3 days. Sunday would not have been an option even if it wasn't Easter.

A few years ago, ESPNU started a Thursday night SEC game of the week. A precedent was set. It's likely that a lot of schools have used this as an opportunity to give everyone Easter off,

In years past, I've seen some late-season ACC series that were scheduled for Saturday-Monday.

Pick your three consecutive days, I guess.

I have too. But the ACC also has the funky round robin format for their tournament.
