Well on the road dawgs tour, Selmon mentioned some changes with NIL around next Fall (2025). Maybe that levels the field?

However I'm not sure what he is referring to.... is there legislation coming down the pipe? Or the ncaa is dropping some new rules?

I'm not sure. But according to the Knight-Commission, State athletics as a whole was $10 million in the red in 2023 and $7milliom in the black in 2022. So I doubt football has a big net gain any year.

LSU's money folks aren't jiving with Kelly. Thats the reason they only have $8M for this year's football roster. When motivated properly, they can go way above that.

I wouldn't believe any published NIL numbers I see anywhere, either for athletes' earnings or for NIL collective totals. But I would be shocked if our totals were more than half what LSU's are.

I wish nil didn’t get started until there were regulations in place. Now, they’ve been caught with their pants down and look really stupid because nil has done whatever it wants and it’s a damn circus.
