Meh… I don’t think he’s bad. I already said I didn’t think he was an SEC starter, but there are only 14 of those in the country. Nobody is going to look good playing behind Illinois’ offensive line. I think he’ll look okay by the end of the season. I’m a little biased, but I’m pulling for the kid.

A bench guy but I'm not sure he wanted to be that guy at State. Good backup with limited ability and one Leach apparently didn't really want.

No, I think Will is better by a lot but it's going to take Will a few games to adapt. He's seeing things this year defensively that he hasn't seen under Leach. You haven't nor will you ever see me criticize Wills ability.
