Only player listed as "athlete" on our roster this year.
Seems to be a jack of all trades, master of none situation.

Team player.
He went there to do all he could. I'm sure he has done that, at least to the extent he has been allowed.Unpopular take...he's getting free education for minimal contribution to the team.
And placeholderIt seems too obvious to me that he should play slot receiver and only slot receiver
It seems like only yesterday that there were many here on FGF proclaiming Doty as the savior at qb.
So all 85 scholarship players make big contributions?Unpopular take...he's getting free education for minimal contribution to the team.
Now why drag Ryan brewer into this?Only player listed as "athlete" on our roster this year.

I wonder what fans will be saying about Sellers a couple years from now?Yeah, he was definitely overhyped as a recruit, much like Dak. Both are super nice guys and teammates and all that, but I'd rather have great players.
Scary proposition given our history of misses and subsequent dejection.....I wonder what fans will be saying about Sellers a couple years from now?
He is not a good receiver. It seems too obvious to me that he should play slot receiver and only slot receiver
Time will tell. Based on literally a handful of passes, he’s got a much better arm than either Dak or Doty.I wonder what fans will be saying about Sellers a couple years from now?
I would say he's getting an education based in exchange for his contributions to the team. Now, there may not be much in the way of statistical, on-field contributions, but I bet that his locker room, practice field, sideline, academic and all around contributions to the program are huge.Unpopular take...he's getting free education for minimal contribution to the team.

Started and will finish his career as a Gamecocks, that is a dying breed, I hope he has a good season and reaches his goals. If he is playing in front of better players then I get why some fans would be negative, but with the turnover in that room, hard to tell, who can do what.Doty is a great interviewee now, better than 99% of coaches. He's sharp - headed for a great future in whatever he does, I would posit.
It's a mess.Started and will finish his career as a Gamecocks, that is a dying breed, I hope he has a good season and reaches his goals. If he is playing in front of better players then I get why some fans would be negative, but with the turnover in that room, hard to tell, who can do what.
Exactly King.He went there to do all he could. I'm sure he has done that, at least to the extent he has been allowed.
