When you make a ton of money, you can afford nice things.

Besides, considering the median home price in America is now over $400,000, $10m for a guy making Brown's salary really isn't as extravagant as it used to be.

I'm happy for him myself. Besides that, he doesn't have that many enjoyable years left.

I grew up spending summers not far from there. Cherry Grove at the end of the surf at the costal waterway that separated North and South Carolina there was a bait shop called Jack's. I used to hang out with the owners sons and go shrimping in John boats in the back channels. WE would catch all sorts of stuff. Lots of junk fish but occasionally get Flounder and Pompano. Those were awesome times. We would smoke Whiting and Spot late afternoon. Now that intercoastal is stacked with Condo's.
