How many more average seasons will UNC have before they get rid of Mack Brown? I feel like he’s up in age and only had one good season since came back. He’s probably the biggest reason we can’t get the recruits we want from North Carolina. He’s locking down the state

Yes, the 2 programs are similar in that respect. 7 or 8 wins a year with bowl games and the coach is going nowhere.
That's the beauty of coaching football at a school where basketball is first, second, third and fourth. It's why I say Mark Stoops has one of the best jobs in college football. He's getting paid nearly $9 million a year to coach football at a school that doesn't really care about football. As long as the team isn't embarrassing itself, he's golden. His name always comes up when there openings at other schools, but I can't imagine why he'd leave? Why go coach somewhere where the expectation is 10+ wins or you'll be out on your can, when you can make a fortune coaching at a place where everyone is perfectly content with 7 wins?
I’m not sure Mack Brown will be too content with losing though. He had a top 10 class and some top 15 classes. He’s had two NFL QBs and some elite skill players. At some point he’s going to realize that it’s time for him to go lol
He can recruit. Name helps, like with suprrier. That will keep him around a lot longer than should be. Don't think he has the proficiency of a coach like steve did.

That's for sure! His first time at UNC, we beat him everytime we played them with Sparky Woods as coach.
Locking down the state? You evidently don't look at recruiting sites. Michigan, LSU, Florida, Georgia, Clemson, Oklahoma, Bama, Virginia Tech all got top 25 recruits from NC....NC State did better than UNC in North Carolina. We did not get anything of value in NC this cycle. Where did you get he is locking down the state of NC?
I’m sorry. I should’ve said a lot of the guys that we were in on since 2018, we lost to UNC. Rick Sandidge was the last big fish we got from North Carolina.
UGA, F. Clem. and Tn. have cherry picked N. C. for years. I sure wish we could get our share. It's frustrating and hard to understand.
In one class they took 3 players that was considering us. Edge Myles Murphy, Edge Desmond Evans, and Safety Conley.
