Dude had 105 catches for over 1,000 yards and 9 TD’s in the SEC. If that doesn’t get you to the league, you’re missing something that you aren’t ever going to have. He had nothing to gain by returning….other than some paltry NIL sum that wouldn’t come close to matching the NFL league minimum.

He’s still going to ink a free agent deal, which is basically no different than going 6th - 7th round in terms of your chances of making a roster. And he gets to start that process now, not next year. Clear enough for you?

But its not nearly as lucrative….that’s what you’re missing. These guys are in it to eventually make money off their skills….they don’t give nearly as much of a crap about playing in the SEC as the fans watching the game. Its just a means to an end for them.
