Actually, I was out of town but watched the tornado on TV as the tourney was being played.
Did you see the SEC storied doc on it. It's called "miracle 3" if not, it's worth a watch, it details all the crap they had to go through to get that tournament completed, it was without a doubt the craziest SEC tournament ever!
Tournament was concluded at Alexander Memorial Coliseum, on the campus of former SEC member The Georgia Institute of Technology, AKA Georgia Tech. Only the press and family members of coaches, staff, and players were allowed in the building as spectators.
Said facility has since been extensively renovated and renamed as the McCamish Pavilion.

I'm glad that USC is moving on, but no gloating - hope Frank lands a position that's an excellent fit and plays to his strengths.
I lived there at the time just 3 blocks from where it hit. My sister called and ask if I was o.k., I said yes are you why? She said you just had a tornado. I said we did, well I noticed alot of tree limbs down when I just walked the dog but I had no idea.
Frank was paid an obscene amount of money to do a mediocre job coaching a game. Iām not gloating, but Iām sure as hell not sorry for him. He needed to go.
