Chris Brown, of BuffaloBills.com, reports NFL commissioner Roger Goodell suspended unrestricted free-agent LB Mario Haggan (Bills) for the first four games of the 2008 NFL season Tuesday, April 8. Haggan is eligible to sign and participate in all offseason and preseason activities, including games. His suspension will take effect after the final roster reduction.</p>

that had some type of prohibited ingredient. He is an unrestricted free agent so if he signs with the Bills (or anyone else) before the season starts, he will sit the first four games; if he is not signed until the fifth week, he will have "served his suspension" and be able to play immediately.
