Now, I know how all of these Texans feel when I tell them about my high school:
One of the last years the aggies were in the big 12, friends invited us to a watch party for ut-aTm football...they were all tsips. I asked if I should bring my cowbell...cuz well, they claim cowbell as a tradiition. I brought my bookstore maroon cowbell. They were 1, so confused, and 2, so impressed because they didn't know handles could be on them. Ha!
There used to be a "maroon" Colonel Reb picture in the Oxford Backyard Burger. Always wondered how that happened.
Hey, they are use to mascot changes and we'd definitely win a Natty or two together. Sure would help with NIL and portal crap. Think ESPN would still get our new name wrong****
