Haven't eaten there in maybe 12-15 years, but I want my money back.

Not really, no complaints.

Saw this elsewhere earlier today.

Mary Mahoney died in 1985, so she didn't witness what the current ownership did to her restaurant.

What it shows is that most white fleshed fish tastes the same. It's the sauces or frying it up in breading or batter that provides the flavor.

Meh, they were doing the same thing a lot of their competition was. I'm all for people getting punished for that. But I wish they would have gone after all the restaurants doing it, not just Mahoneys. They could occasionally order food form restaurants and test the fish to see if it's right and penalize people over that. Not as flashy as getting to point to tons of fish being mislabeled at one restaurant, but it would be a lot easier and would be much more effective at discouraging the practice rather than just hammering the one restaurant that got caught.

This had been going on for 20 years, & others have been doing this much longer.

It's more than a "couple of hundred thousand bucks"

Millions

MM's was just the example made to stop it industry wide.
