Yet another big game for the basketball team. Biggest one to date this season. Don't know the line yet, but ESPN gives us little shot of winning this one (8% chance). Nevertheless, on paper, it appears to be a fair matchup.

We've played some common opponents. Their one conf loss was to MSU on the road. We beat MSU at home. They squeaked by UGA on the road, while we lost to UGA at home. They pulverized Bama at home and we got pulverized by Bama on the road. So our 2 losses are games they won and their one loss is a game we won. We are currently tied for 3rd in the conference and a win moves us to #2.

We're both defensive-minded teams, so it should be a good, tough game.

I haven't had a chance to catch a lot of their games, but from what I've seen, they remind me of UK on offense, but less balanced in scoring. Knecht is a major key to their scoring success. And they like to shoot the 3. I like our D matched up to their O.

Also have not watched them much so can't say anything detailed. It doesn't look like a total mismatch on paper, though. Perhaps I'm being overly hopeful.

It's been a while that they have a dominated us. They are 26-5 against us going back to 2008. Been particularly ugly the last few year. Average margin of victory for them in the last 5 games is 29.4 points. Considering they absolutely vaporized us by almost identical scores of 85-45 and 85-42 last season, this is something of a measuring stick game for us.

Don't give a rip what 'chance' the espn fools give us. If they shoot like alabama did in our game then its an L, other than that this team will be there with them.

Shoot, at this point I just hope he does well enough that other teams would want to hire him. We can’t say that much over our history.
