• Two of the top Class of 2009 prospects in Mississippi, athlete Chad Bumphis of Tupelo and Kendrick Hardy of Lawrence County, are expected to stay in-state as things stand today. Bumphis is expected to join an already-stellar class at Mississippi State while Hardy is expected to end up at Ole Miss.

I went to a Tupelo football function a couple of weeks ago. Many there felt Bumphis was a heavy State lean.

yeah it's not so much that Bumphis seems to be coming here as the line about the 'already stellar recruiting class'...

Bumphis looks at Bama and sees J Jones, BJ Scott, Hanks (Soph), M Maze (RFr), and they're after Ronnie Wingo for 09. Too stacked at WR. Time for Chadwick to consider playing time.
