One thing about writing sports for the Reflector back in the day was that football players would invite you to their table at the Crossroads on 82 and pound some brews together. I remember Vitrano at the table. Needless to say heard some cool insider info on the football team. His highlight was being named MVP of the 1974 Sun Bowl. Dawgs ran for 455 yards against North Carolina at the "Fog Bowl". RIP Terry, he was a great Bulldog.

Rockey intentionally falling short of the goal line running out the clock in the 4th cost many a bulldog some money on that game.

Sat next to Terry in Marriage and Family in Bowen Hall. Goodness he would tell me some crazy stuff.
