the ridiculous talk about making the SEC Tournament.

I that's an indication of how far we have fallen- our players just want "to make" the SEC Tournament.

Bunch of losers.

for at least 3 years. There are a lot of weeds that need to be pulled out of this pathetic program.

....and win the next two games, they leave the weekend with Auburn still ahead of them in the standings. Of course, we're talking about the bottom two teams in the league here.

Unless a team in the East totally collapses, MSU will have to finish at worst 2nd place in the West to get to Hoover. The odds of that happening? So miniscule that it's not worth the time to figure.

could get us close to that level in 2 years (assuming he doesn't completely gut the program, which may be best in the long run).

We're going to pretty much be mathmatically eliminated from the SECT with 2 weekends left in the season. That's hard to do.

Next year we will have almost all of our position players back, barring mass transferring and like this season, injury. I'm also HOPING (maybe because that's all that can really be done) that a new pitching coach can come in and help our pitching staff be decent. As in middle of the SEC, which would be a heck of a job.

Anyway, I'm hoping that our veterans can buy time for the next coach to bring in some SEC talent. The good thing about baseball is that you can realistically rebuild in three years as opposed to say, five for football.

is going to need a couple of years, but it will get done. Even a decent coach can win at MSU. We just have to accept a losing season and wait for the new hire to come in and remove Polk and these clowns.

I think someone that can halfway manage a team will probably equal at least a winning regular season. Stop leaving pitchers in too long, play some small ball when we need to, and get a third base coach that knows when to send runners and when not to.
